Xsens: inertial sensors

Xsens inertial sensors consist of miniature inertial measurement units containing 3D accelerometers, 3D velocity gyroscopes, 3D magnetometers, and a barometer that measures atmospheric pressure. These trackers are placed at strategic locations on the body to measure the movements of each segment and joint with high precision.

MTw Awinda is an easy-to-integrate wireless human motion tracker for real-time applications. The patented Awinda protocol ensures time-synchronized data sampling for all connected sensors, which is essential for obtaining more accurate joint angle measurements.
The Xsens DOT sensor is small, lightweight, and quick and easy to set up. It can be used as a standalone device or easily connected to multiple sensors for even more accurate tracking data of complex motion. The Xsens DOT comes with a slim charging case for up to 5 sensors, which also keeps them protected when not in use.
